Hi Chris, thanks for your reading my article. As Angular Cli latest version V6.0.8 (when I wrote this reply) changed ng new command, the “ — source-dir” paramter is no longer available. Check out https://github.com/angular/angular-cli/wiki/new for “ng new” command. That’s why you didn’t see ClientApp folder and it won’t create the angular files under your ASP.NET Core project folder when you run ng new outside of your project folder. I am working for a article for Angular-Cli V6.0.8 with Angular 6 and hopefully it comes out soon. :-).
